Firefighters, police officers, paramedics and EMTs put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. They deserve more than our gratitude. They deserve real support.
I’ll fight to make sure first responders have the funding, equipment and resources they need to do their jobs safely. I’ll also work to expand access to mental health services, because the stress and trauma that comes with these jobs don’t end when a shift does.
I’ll protect the pensions our firefighters and police officers have earned. These benefits aren’t handouts. They’re commitments made to the people who’ve spent their careers serving others. I’ll make sure those promises are kept.
